Printed Guide

In the interest of making printing as easy as possible, this guide has also been provided as a single HTML page, suitable for printing. This page features smaller fonts and images so that more information fits on a single printed page. It contains all of the information contained in the online guide (introduction, general information, indices etc.). However, it doesn't print very well. This is an unfortunate limitation of HTML and the internet.

If you don't care about how it looks and still want to obtain a hardcopy of this guide, there are currently two options:

  1. Use the print function of your web browser to print out the guide as is. This may not give very good results, depending on your web browser and printer, but involves the least amount of mucking about. Note that with my setup, the guide prints out to 41 A4 pages.
  2. Copy the entire contents of the guide to your word processor. This option gives you the ability to format the guide for your own needs (reducing the font size even further or printing it out on smaller paper (eg. A5) for example). Although this requires a bit more frigging about, it will give a much better result.
Or, to keep up-to-date without lugging around bulk:
Don't print the whole guide. Only print the crag you plan to go to. The online version will always be more up-to-date than the printed version, so simply print what you need before you go.

Note that because of the license, you are free to copy and manipulate the contents of this guide as you wish, provided your changes are available under the same license.

One final note: the printed edition of the guide is pretty big, and will almost certainly take some time to download (and even longer for your browser to render!). I'd recommend that once you've downloaded the guide once, save it to disk so that you can browse and format it without having to download it again. Of course don't forget to check back here every so often for updates!
