Nobody has your support more than me on this issue. I think the chains are a climbers (and Belayers) best friend and the actions of [the person who removed the anchors] are irrational. This mentality is also reflected in the poor bolting which exists at Kangaroo Point. I think that if the climbs were bolted like a proper sports route then unnecessary risks would not need to be taken. Do you know who is responsibile for the maintenance of these bolts? If it is only a monetary issue as to why there is a huge runout at the top of Lesbian Printshop Workers (23), I would be willing to take down a Hilti and some bolts and do it properly. What are your thoughts on this issue? Regards JG [Lesbian Printshop Workers (22) is protected by a #3 RP at the top, therefore adding a bolt to it would be going against the style of the first ascentionist (termed "retrobolting"). Retrobolting is a highly questionable activity even at the best of times. Conclusion? Wait until you're confident with the natural pro before leading it, or do one of the multitudes of other routes.]
