Hi Lee, It seems stupid that someone would go to so much effort to protect 'the nature 
of the route' and sacrifice the health of the natural environment, namely the trees. I 
will still climb there with or without the chains, so removing them will provide no 
logical benefit as far as I'm concerned. So tell [the person that removed the anchors] 
to leave them there and remind him that the cliffs are there for the enjoyment of all. 
If he thinks they change the nature of the climb tell him not to use them.
